Short Bio

Jessica Faber, currently a PhD student at the Institute of Continuum Mechanics and Biomechanics (LKM), studied Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and Management at the FAU, where she received the DIEHL Master Prize for the best master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management in 2020. Since 2022 she is a member of the SFB/TRR 225 – From the fundamentals of biofabrication towards functional tissue models and is responsible for subproject B09 – Biofabricated gradients for functional tissue models. Within the SFB/TRR 225 she is in the selection committee of the SFB/TRR 225 Erlangen funding program for young scientists and received the SFB/TRR 225 Publication Award in 2022. Besides, she is interested in bouldering and climbing.
