Short Bio
Jaimé Goedhals completed her Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences at Stellenbosch University, in Stellenbosch, South Africa. She continued her studies, at Stellenbosch University, obtaining a Masters in Applied Mathematics. Jaimé is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Continuum Mechanics and Biomechanics (LKM). She joined the ERC Starting Grant project ‘Mechanics-augmented brain surgery (MAGERY)’ in 2024, focusing on simulating mechanics induced damage to brain tissue and mechanics-induced cell response.
