BRAINIACS members Nina Reiter and Yashasvi Verma are organizing a minisymposium on Experimental and Numerical Approaches to Understanding the Vascularized Brain at WCCM-ECCOMAS 2026 in Munich.

We welcome contributions on topics including (but not limited to):

• In vivo, in vitro, and ex vivo experimental investigations of brain vasculature
• Computational and in silico modelling of neurovascular coupling, nutrient transport, and vascular pathologies
• Multiscale and multiphysics modelling across cellular to organ levels
• Incorporation of clinical data and patient-specific geometries into simulations
• Biomechanical characterisation of pressurised brain tissue and vasculature

The goal of MS311 is to foster an interdisciplinary exchange between engineers, physicists, biologists, and clinicians to advance our understanding of the coupled processes governing brain function and disease. More information can be found on: https://lnkd.in/ekA6AdzV

🗓️ The deadline for abstract submission is 12 January, 2026.

We warmly invite you to submit your abstract and join us in this exciting discussion in Munich.
